North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Halifax routs Weldon

January 14, 2025: Littleton, NC 27850

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball team scored a big 48-18 triumph over the Weldon Chargers.

The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles go into the 1A Tar Roanoke contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Warren County was trounced by Northampton County (Gaston, NC), 51-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke contest, on Friday, January 17. Weldon will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Pride go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 65-55 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC).
