Georgia High School Basketball - Mountain View can't hold off Milton
January 7, 2023: Milton, GA 30004 The Milton Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Mountain View Bears to 58 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Forsyth for a AAAAAAA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Milton will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 59-44 non-league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-8.
The Bears (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons come into the AAAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Dacula was nudged by Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 62-60, in a league contest.
