The Benjamin Davis Falcons basketball team (Houston, TX), was nudged 51-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

The Lions now possess a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aldine for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Wednesday, January 25. Spring will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 68-63 league loss to MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-17.

The Falcons (14-10) will now prepare for their battle against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region II District 14 battle with a 8-20 record. In their last battle, Dekaney was nudged by Westfield (Houston, TX), 65-59, in a league battle.
