The Fairbury Jeffs basketball team (Fairbury, NE), dropped 71-60 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE)

The Thunderbirds now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elmwood-Murdock for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Johnson County Central will battle a Knights team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Palmyra (Palmyra, NE). The Knights record now stands at 10-6.

The Jeffs (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Wolverines come into the C1 District 1 battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Wilber-Clatonia prevailed over Milford (Milford, NE), 38-31, in a non-league battle.
