Maryland High School Basketball - Northern knocked off by Westlake

February 14, 2022: Waldorf, MD 20603

The Westlake Wolverines basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Northern Patriots to 48 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wolverines now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, February 16. Westlake will battle a Raiders team coming off a 45-32 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 4-12.

The Patriots (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Chargers enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Lackey was defeated by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 57-43, in a league contest.
