The Donovan Wildcats basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Clifton Central Comets to 45 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iroquois West for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Donovan will battle a Raiders team coming off a 45-35 league win over Westville (Westville, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 13-3.

The Comets (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Dragons come into the River Valley contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Grant Park edged Tri-Point (Cullom, IL), 64-27, in a league contest.
