In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Clifton Central Comets basketball team scored a good 53-37 triumph over the Watseka Warriors.

In their next game, the Comets meet the Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL) in a River Valley challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Clifton Central will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
