The Olympic Trojans basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 53-52 in Friday's league battle with the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

The Sabres now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berry for a 4A South Meck battle on Tuesday, December 12. South Mecklenburg will battle a Cardinal team coming off a 68-59 league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal record now stands at 1-6.

The Trojans (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, South Aiken was nudged by Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC), 38-35, in a non-league battle.
