Minnesota High School Basketball - Cedar Mountain can't hold off New Ulm Cathedral
January 9, 2024: New Ulm, MN 56073 The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Cedar Mountain Cougars to 63 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a A Section 2 contest on Friday, January 12. New Ulm Cathedral will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 84-55 league win over Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-6.
The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record.
