The Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), 46-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers (23-1) will now prepare for their test against Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 5 test with a 10-9 record.

The Bearcats now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Jones for a 4A Region 5 test on Friday, January 26. Forest will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 50-44 league loss to Quitman (Quitman, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 10-9.
