The Cheyenne Desert Shields basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Del Sol Dragons to 44 in the Desert Shields non-league triumph on Friday.

The Desert Shields now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cimarron-Memorial for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Cheyenne will meet a Spartans team coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 5-11.

The Dragons (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.
