In Tuesday's league outing, the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) basketball squad felled the visiting Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS), by a margin of 45-34.

The Hurricanes (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Greyhounds go into the non-league outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Ocean Springs was beaten by Biloxi (Biloxi, MS), 56-51, in a league outing.
