The Carlisle Chiefs baseball team (Axton, VA), was overwhelmed 18-0 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA)

The Eagles now hold a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roanoke Catholic for a outing on Thursday, April 18.

Next, the Chiefs confront the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) in a VISAA Virginia Independent outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Barons go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 17-0 league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
