Washington High School Basketball - Lynden Christian overwhelms Meridian
January 12, 2023: Lynden, WA 98264 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) and the visiting Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), saw Lynden Christian's basketball squad wallop Meridian by a tally of 75-49.
With the victory, Lynden Christian improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Lyncs travel to Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Seattle Academy lost 76-57 in their recent non-league challenge against North Kitsap (Poulsbo, WA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 61-49 league win over Ferndale (Ferndale, WA).
