The Orono Riots topped the visiting Hermon Hawks basketball team by a final score of 53-43 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Riots face the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a B North game, on Wednesday, December 20. Orono will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 68-50 league win over Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME).

With the defeat, Hermon moves to 1-2 on the year. The Hawks travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to face the Ponies in a B North game on Thursday, December 21.
