Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE) and the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE), saw Tri County's basketball squad overcome Johnson County Central by a tally of 62-45.

With the victory, Tri County improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Pawnee City won 60-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Frankfort (Frankfort, KS)

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE) in a C2 District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Johnson County Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 57-40 non-league win over Palmyra (Palmyra, NE).
