Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) and the host Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), saw Herscher's basketball squad hold off Clifton Central by a count of 49-42.

With the victory, Herscher upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Iroquois West won 38-14 in their recent league challenge against Chrisman (Chrisman, IL)
