In Sunday's league match, the host St. John's Cadets basketball team scored a decisive 62-24 triumph over the St. Mary's Ryken Knights.

In their next game, the Cadets meet the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a Washington Catholic match, on Tuesday, January 30. St. John's will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record.
