Ohio High School Basketball - Mapleton fells Hillsdale
December 5, 2023: Ashland, OH 44805 Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hillsdale Falcons (Jeromesville, OH), 41-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mapleton upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Mounties travel to New London (New London, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Firelands bout on Saturday, December 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2. New London lost 46-26 in their recent non-league bout against Norwalk (Norwalk, OH)
Next up, the Falcons play the Norwayne Bobcats (Creston, OH) in a Wayne County bout, on Thursday, December 7. Hillsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 76-7 non-league win over Buckeye (Medina, OH).
