The Dekaney Wildcats basketball team (Houston, TX), was overwhelmed 51-23 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

The Lions now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westfield for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Wednesday, December 15. Spring will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.
