In Friday's league outing, the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), by a count of 62-54.

The Wolverines (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 1-13 record.

The Braves now hold a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Lackey for a Southern Maryland outing on Wednesday, February 1. Chopticon will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 76-70 league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Chargers record now stands at 6-8.
