The Northwestern Regional Highlanders basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Litchfield Cowboys to 34 in the Highlanders league victory on Tuesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wamogo Regional for a Berkshire contest on Friday, February 3. Northwestern Regional will battle a Warriors team coming off a 72-40 league win over Housatonic (Falls Village, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.

The Cowboys (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans come into the Berkshire contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Shepaug Valley triumphed over Terryville (Terryville, CT), 71-33, in a league contest.
