The Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) basketball felled the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 61-52 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Highlanders (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Brevard was beaten by East Rutherford (Forest City, NC), 61-37, in a league test.
