In Tuesday's league outing, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 58-23.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Sabres host Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31.
