The Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), 68-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pirates (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 25-10 record. In their last test, Rice Consolidated walloped Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX), 84-82, in a non-league test.

The Owls now own a 11-25 record.
