The Union Bears basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Lee Generals to 35 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Battle for a Mountain contest on Tuesday, January 31.

The Generals (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans enter the Mountain contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, John Battle ran past Honaker (Honaker, VA), 59-38, in a non-league contest.
