The Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) softball routed the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 18-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Wreckers (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Falcons go into the Fairfield County bout with a 11-1 record. In their last bout, Ludlowe toppled Darien (Darien, CT), 16-3, in a league bout.
