February 13, 2023: Chassell, MI 49916 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI) and the host Chassell Panthers (Chassell, MI), saw L'Anse's basketball squad overcome Chassell by a tally of 58-40.
With the victory, L'Anse improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Purple Hornets travel to Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI) to confront the Lakes in a Copper Mountain challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Lakes come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Lake Linden-Hubbell won 58-37 in their recent league challenge against Chassell (Chassell, MI)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) in a Copper Mountain challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Chassell will attempt to improve on its 1-17 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 43-28 league loss to Baraga (Baraga, MI).
