The Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) basketball knocked off the host Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), 54-36 in Friday's league test.

The Golden Bears (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Union City (Union City, IN). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Union City notched a victory over Southern Wells (Poneto, IN), 57-45, in a non-league test.
