The Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN) basketball crushed the host Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN), 78-45 in Thursday's league test.

The Mavericks (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 17-2 record. In their last test, Westbrook-Walnut Grove was trounced by Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN), 68-55, in a league test.
