The Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI), 57-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Mattawan (Mattawan, MI). The Wildcats go into the Southwestern Michigan - West test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mattawan got by Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 69-57, in a non-league test.
