In Thursday's league match, the visiting Prospect Knights basketball team scored a tight 50-45 triumph over the Rolling Meadows Mustangs.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 20. Prospect will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 13-6 record after their 58-52 league loss to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL).

With the defeat, Rolling Meadows moves to 14-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to meet the Grenadiers in a Mid-Suburban - East match on Friday, January 19. The Grenadiers enter the match with a record of 2-15. Elk Grove lost 43-41 in their recent league match against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL)
