California High School Basketball - Kennedy tipped by Taft

January 3, 2024: Delano, CA 93215

The Taft Wildcats basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Kennedy Thunderbirds to 33 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shafter for a South Sequoia contest on Thursday, January 4. Taft will meet a Generals team coming off a 72-21 league win over Chavez (Delano, CA). The Generals record now stands at 10-5.

The Thunderbirds (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Delano (Delano, CA). The Tigers enter the South Sequoia contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Delano was nudged by Wasco (Wasco, CA), 53-27, in a non-league contest.
