Louisiana High School Basketball - Natchitoches Central nudges Airline

January 12, 2024: Bossier City, LA 71111

Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA), 57-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Natchitoches Central upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Chiefs host Benton (Benton, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Benton won 69-60 in their recent league bout against Parkway (Bossier City, LA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Airline will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 38-36 non-league win over Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA).
