The Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Central Bronchos (Marlow, OK), 61-45 in Tuesday's league test.

The Comets (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Empire (Duncan, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record.

The Bronchos now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Cobb-Broxton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9.
