Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Francis W. Parker Colonels (Chicago, IL), 78-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Orr (Chicago, IL) to play the Spartans in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Orr lost 71-35 in their recent non-league bout against Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL)
