The Whiteland Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting East Central Trojans to 42 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Community for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Whiteland will battle a Grizzly Cubs team coming off a 87-53 league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, IN). The Grizzly Cubs record now stands at 10-1.

The Trojans (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Wildcats come into the Eastern Indiana contest with a 4-8 record.
