Michigan High School Basketball - Walled Lake Central holds off Milford
January 19, 2024: Walled Lake, MI 48390 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) and the visiting Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI), saw Walled Lake Central's basketball squad hold off Milford by a tally of 40-35.
With the victory, Walled Lake Central improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI) to confront the Lions in a Lakes Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. South Lyon lost 51-43 in their recent league challenge against Mott (Waterford, MI)
Next up, the Mavericks confront the South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI) in a Lakes Valley challenge, on Friday, January 26. Milford will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
