In Saturday's non-league match, the host Northeastern Knights basketball team scored a good 55-41 triumph over the Blue River Valley Vikings.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a Tri-Eastern match, on Wednesday, January 25. Northeastern will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 56-31 non-league win over Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN).

With the defeat, Blue River Valley moves to 15-7 on the year.
