The Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) basketball crushed the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 66-17 in Friday's league test.

The Greenwave (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm go into the 3A Conference 50 test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Stuart W. Cramer walloped Huss (Gastonia, NC), 51-49, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Crest for a 3A Conference 50 test on Tuesday, January 10. North Gaston will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 52-47 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 2-11.
