Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC), 15-0 in a league test.

With the win, Charlotte Catholic upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Monday, April 24. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 9-7. Charlotte Country Day School won 5-4 in their recent league test against Cannon (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, East Mecklenburg falls to 9-13 on the season. The Eagles host Providence (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Panthers in a Southwestern 4A test on Tuesday, April 25. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 17-4. Providence won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
