In Monday's league match, the visiting Banneker Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 63-60 triumph over the Woodson Warriors.
In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA match, on Wednesday, January 12. Banneker will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Trainers enter the match with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD).
With the defeat, Woodson moves to 0-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to Bell (Washington, DC) to meet the Griffins in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 12. The Griffins enter the match with a record of 7-4. Bell lost 54-52 in their recent non-league match against Eastern (Washington, DC)
