Texas High School Basketball - Archer City holds off Petrolia

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Archer City Wildcats basketball team scored a close 43-40 triumph over the Petrolia Pirates.
The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Nocona (Nocona, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Nocona was tipped by Seymour (Seymour, TX), 46-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Electra Tigers (Electra, TX) in a 2A Region II District 9 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Petrolia will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 51-25 league loss to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX).
