Texas High School Basketball - Petrolia nips Archer City

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Petrolia Pirates basketball team scored a close 32-31 triumph over the Archer City Wildcats.
The Pirates (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Electra (Electra, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 17-11 record. In their last contest, Electra was tipped by Windthorst (Windthorst, TX), 56-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX) in a 2A Region II District 9 contest, on Friday, February 7. Archer City will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 9-17 record after their 57-44 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX).
