Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County winner over Perkins County

January 11, 2024: Grant, NE 69140

In Thursday's non-league match, the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball team were victorious over the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), by a score of 39-27.

In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) in a C1 District 11 match, on Friday, January 12. Chase County will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Swedes enter the match with a 11-1 record after their 62-41 league win over Cozad (Cozad, NE).

With the defeat, Perkins County moves to 7-5 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE) to meet the Broncos in a non-league match on Friday, January 12. The Broncos enter the match with a record of 5-5. Wauneta-Palisade lost 48-42 in their recent non-league match against Southwest (Bartley, NE)
