In Saturday's non-league outing, the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball squad felled the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), by a margin of 51-38.

The Longhorns (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Holyoke was beaten by Perkins County (Grant, NE), 59-33, in a non-league outing.

The Plainsmen now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Holyoke for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 23. Perkins County will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 72-38 league loss to Wray (Wray, CO). The Dragons record now stands at 3-7.
