Nevada High School Basketball - Silver Stage overwhelmed by Pershing County

January 11, 2025: Silver Springs, NV 89429

In Saturday's league test, the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball squad trounced the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), by a score of 61-27.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a 2A Northern test, on Friday, January 17. Pershing County will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 50-34 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV).

The Nighthawks (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV). The Bighorns come into the 2A Northern test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Oasis Academy was routed by West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 49-28, in a league test.
