Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County overwhelms Silver Stage

The Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks to 24 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Lowry for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Pershing County will confront a Buckaroos team coming off a 51-41 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Silver Stage falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Incline (Incline Village, NV) to confront the Highlanders in a 2A Northern game on Tuesday, January 28. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 5-10.
