In Thursday's league outing, the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ), by a margin of 67-27.

The Stallions (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Rams go into the 6A West Valley outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Maricopa was trounced by Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ), 72-29, in a non-league outing.

The Wolverines now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host West Point for a 6A West Valley outing on Friday, January 13. Tolleson will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 51-26 non-league win over Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 6-10.
