Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves (Nevada City, CA), 47-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Foresthill upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Wildfires host Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Central Valley California League bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Encina Prep lost 41-28 in their recent league bout against Futures (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Fire Wolves play the Sacramento Waldorf Waves (Fair Oaks, CA) in a Central Valley California League bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Waves go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 38-32 league loss to Delta (Clarksburg, CA).
